Best Builds Post Patch?Follow

Hi all,

I need help with two questions.

Imprimus, do we (as Warriors) have "the best" build(s) figured yet? Meaning, for BG PvP, what is the "best" build. The traditional Arms/Fury (33/28) or the newer Arms (5X/X)? I confess, I'm really thrown by this as I can see both points of view. Flurry is really handy, but so is Bladestorm. Maybe someone with more time on their hands has actually done the math? Maybe someone has opinions for a PvE build? I can't be the only inquiring mind.

Secondus, again for BG PvP, what is now the preferred weapon.....sword, mace, or axe? Before the patch, most people would have considered mace #1....but now? I still lean toward mace, but it is certainly debatable. Ex. When we get a 30% chance for a Execute after every crit, and axe gives another 5% chance to crit....... PvE info/opinions would be useful as well, I'm sure.

Anyone? Thanks in advance.

There is no "best" build anymore, in that not everyone is taking the exact same talents. Blizz has done a decent job of what they said they wanted to do, which is get rid of the cookie-cutter specs and to give players more choices inside the trees. With that said, the "best" PvP BG build is probably a 53/8 build currently (filling out Cruelty and AttT in Fury), but you need to decide what talents you prefer in Arms, as there are now far too many good talents for you to take them all (especially at 70).

Currently, an axe or polearm is the best weapon, as Sudden Death procs off of crits. However, that will be changing to a chance on hit instead, at which point your weapon choice will be a matter of personal preference. If you have a racial that gives you expertise with a certain weapon type, I'd consider sticking with that.
