Focus dumps causing trouble with other pet abilities?Follow

Right now, if I want to use Roar of Recovery, or Thunderstomp, while my pet is in combat (using focus dump and other abilities) I pretty much have to spam-click it until it goes off--not the most efficient way to do thing. With the focus dump off, I have no problem--same thing if I'm out of combat--so I think the problem is with the focus dump resetting some kind of cooldown (since the message I got was "ability is not ready yet", not "not enough focus"). When I leave these abilities on autocast they never trigger for me at all.

I've tried setting up a macro to turn off autocast on the focus dump, cast the ability I need, and then turn autocast back on, but the best I've been able to do is turn of autocast and then use the ability, not turn autocast back on.

Has anyone else been getting frustrated that these abilities don't take priority over the focus dump when triggered? The cower bug I can live with, since I don't need my pet to tank too often, but this is really starting to get frustrating. Roar of Recovery was one of the big things I was looking forward to with the pet changes, and now it's almost more trouble than it's worth to use.

Don't pets have GCD too?

If they do, then of course, them using a focus dump at every opportunity is going to ensure that the GCD is almost always (except for fractions of seconds between each ability use) active.
