Hey all :) I have a lvl 70 Boomkin which I would like to Gear up to be able to at least do Kara to start with. The problem is that I HATE PVP grinding and just can't do it regardless of the rewards :(
Is there anyone here that might be able to give me some directions as to where to go to get some decent gear? Instances, Dailies etc I can do.

To be honest, with as hard as they have nerfed the raids, you can probably just walk into a kara run, do your best on dps and pick up a bunch of upgrades. It'll be the fastest way for you to gear up until the x-pac.
EDIT: I should have looked at your armory first. Get rid of anything that doesn't have spell power, int and stam on it and get the level 68-70 greens/blues off the AH. Most are decently cheap right now. Anything with spell crit is a bonus. That should put you up around 400ish spell power give or take. Then do the kara thing. Hell, you could get lucky and jumpt 300-400 spell damage in one run of kara.

i agree with gale, the only other thing i could suggest is to get as much badge gear as quick as possible.
before the patch our drops were miserable in pretty much every raid up to SWP. now you can also roll on all the old healing gear, as it wont have much crit, it will definitely be an upgrade to a green or blue. also like i said, get all the badge gear you can, heroics should be pretty easy by now, and of course kara is 22 badges (i think) for a full clear.
keep plugging away at it and soon you will be an uber boomkin. good hunting.

I have read some posts about what kind of requirements you should have to run kara pre-patch, but then I moved resto to balance and my spellpower is around 580 (if I recall correctly, probably buffed). What should I expect to get into Kara? It sounds like with the nerf I could go now...
Before I had tried to be.imba.hu as a guide, but since the patch I've picked up 2 honor pieces and both caster HH rings. But now it obviously doesn't quite work.

Thanx for the advice so far evrywun :)I guess I'll be begging to tail on some kara runs soon :)
sumduud i would say you should be fine with that. i'm kara/t4/badge mostly in my boomkin i have about 900 sp. any more all you have to do is get in a pug and go to town i hear it's nerfed big time i know za was a joke when i did it the past two days.
sweet thanks. I've talked to a few guildies and I think we are going to make a run of it in the next few days.
I was on a Kara run right after the patch (my first) with my guild and we cleared it in a little over 2 hours. I went in kitty form but was able to pick up two epic pieces for my caster gear in a off-spec roll. The whole run the other guys were laughing at how easy it was.
