Which Pet are you folks rolling with now?Follow

Thanks for that tip Gutler! I love the armored wolves. In fact I decided today that my Orc DPS pet is going to be a grey wolf. (Until the armored ones are available in 3.03)

I tried a ghost kitty but it was too nelf like for my old orc. I've always thought Worg's were perfect Orc hunter pets lore wise and now that they are in the DPS tree its perfect.

I was rolling with ravager for a long time before 3.0 and I think his stun could be usefull in PVP. I might try a spider for that as well.

But my Orc is an old grizzled veteren with a grey/white topnot braid. Having a silver/grey alpha worg pet should fit really nice.

Although I think the armored ones are only in black. I may have to make an exception for them.

Also a 124 AP boost seems like a nice buff for the raid.

Just remember that the AP boost depends on party/raid makeup (disreguard if soloing)

EDIT: I know the armored wolf is bad#ss, but it would be hard to give up the spirit wolf....

I went into the Ramparts and tamed the Shattered Hand Warhound. What an awesome looking pet and the Furious Howl buff is nice too. I may start using it as a main pet instead of my Tiger.

Has anyone been using a Hyena for their PvP hunting? It seems to me that a Ferocity Pet (+10% damage) with all of the power talents of that tree, combined with Tendon Rip (reducing movement speed by 50% for 6 sec on a 20Sec CD) would be a powerful combination. Add a talented charge in there, and your enemy will be quite irritated. All of this BEFORE popping a BW/TBW or other HUNTER talents/sklls.

So far, I have enjoyed hunting with my Gorilla, my Wolf and my Slithid. I love the fact Bliz gave each pet something different. Makes taming and learning new pets tons of fun!

Happy Hunting!

I have a 53 level hunter and I use a crab! Laugh all you want but my hunter only has 5 days playing time and the crab really does some damage not to mention can tank two monsters at a time with hardly any hp decrease. Also has a really cool pin move that will hold the monster when it tries to come at you. Anyhow another advantage is that the crab is small and low so no visual blockage between it and your opponent. Also a crab is unique seeing as how nobody ever uses them.

I started playing WoW some month ago and now i'm lvl 30 Night-Elf Hunter with two pets. Witherwings is a lvl 30 Bird of Prey and ShadowFang is a lvl 28 Moonstalker Sire. I really like the bird of prey, i have cleared many difficult situations with him as my friend.

Still rolling with the Ghost Wolf from last years Ancient Grimtotem Spirit Guide. If they would have left it tameable I probably would have stabeled it by now and went with the good ole fashioned Mazzranache!

I like my Warp Stalker. Nothing special to it, I just like the look. But having the pet attack, and appear instantly behind a mob is fun, IMO.

I do want to try others, but hard to put down what you love!^^

Yes I realise this thread was resurrected slightly, but it wasnt me that done it.

I am using a Turtle called Chelsea and I am very much in love. I started off with a Spider but Chelsea just looks so cool. She is like a little blue ball of death. She is also not a commonly used creature so she at least feels a little unique.
She is also an amazing tank, she has huge HP and armour to begin with but she can use Shell Sheild if things start looking bad, and there is nothing more terrifiying than a giant red turtle when I use Bestial Wrath. I managed to solo Razorfen Downs with Cheslea at 45, which was an achievement for me, never having done it before. She can just take such a pounding and carry on.
When I hit 60 I plan to have some fun with exotics, starting off with a Silithid, they do look pretty cool.

At the moment, using a cat for damage though I intend to go tame one of the saddled raptors from Utgarde keep (if they are tamable as I think they are) to potentially replace since the cats are so common.

For a tank pet I have both a slim and three headed ghost hydra. I don't care for the slim particularly but I'm sure they will be rare one day.

I like bouncing between my nightsaber (cat) Fluffy and my black widow spider model Charlotte. I really like the new spider web effect.

I picked up a spider named Webby, but I'm not feeling it. I got a scorpid last night and I'm loving it. Between his poison and my scorpid sting, mobs go down fast. I'm going to test a gorilla next.
