I just checked over the patch notes in case I missed it but still don't see anything about it, but has anyone else noticed that if a shaman is in another group in a raid and drops totems, EVERYONE in the raid receives the benefits?
I don't know if it was a glitch or not, but it happened last night running Kara. I ahd put the shaman in the caster group and noticed that we were still getting his totem buffs.
On another note, casting Arcane Brilliance on someone (for the group) puts it on everyone in the raid as well. Saves some reagents at least.

Buffs are raid wide now. GoW, AB, etc. So yes it saves reagents.
As for totems, they are all raid wide (as long as the player is within 30 yards), I know mana spring stacks, but only with players in the shamans group, so if you have 2 shammies in 1 group you get double the mana spring.
I don't use healing stream so I haven't noticed if it stacks or not, but I assume it works the same as mana spring.
I don't think any of the other totem buffs stack, pretty sure they don't.

Enhancement and Elemental totems are raid-wide but don't stack.
Restoration totems are group only but stack. (Mana, Healing Tremor, Disease/Poison removing, etc.)

Speaking of totem buffs, I saw a Shaman in the BG who'se totems had 5 hp instead of 1 (all 4 of them). Please tell me that's not Blizz's idea of 'buffing totem survivability'?

Well, it's not really that big of a deal that you've never noticed. Considering that even an unarmed level one can do five points of damage and one-shot a totem, there's not any real difference between them having five health and one health.
True, but it's just that I was 100% positive on totems having 1 health before. I'm rarely that sure on something when it ends up being false, so it messes with my head =P
actually their still going to need more than 1 because you'll wnat to mix and match the totems for the entire raid now.
More than one, yes, but as far as totems/buffs are concerned, no more than two tops. Note that the class average for a 25-man raid would be 2.5, so that's not exactly horrible, but in order to justify more than two, and honestly, in order to justify more than even one, they would need to put out some impressive DPS or HPS. Unfortunately, Shaman in the beta seem to be lagging behind pretty badly on both accounts right now.
Well, I've noticed that some critters "like frogs" will attack you when you put down certain totems, but what with them Being level 1 critters, they can't actually hurt you, but it would be messed up if you threw down a earth bind and a frog kills it.
Slightly OT: critters still have a chance to resist spells, I've seen a couple times when a critter shrugged of a mind blast or one of my shocks.

I have noticed that Healing stream totem still seems to effect only your raid group. Anyone else seen/tested this?
Totem of Wrath always used to stack, haven't tried it since the patch though.
Last I heard Totem of Wrath does not stack anymore, blizzard finally decided to stop overlooking that one (not that I blame them at level 80 I think it offers 280 spell power)
