Pet namesFollow

New to this site but love most of the posts i read....been a hunter for a long time and have always loved to tame anything new that i found while running around..

Worg used to be what i named all my pets but that got boring so here is what i have now..

Boar-Sasha..from RFD
Cat-Sioned...elite from Winterspring and a Melanie Rawn reference
Silithid-Jitterbug...rare spawn from shimmering flats and i must say love this new pet
Wolf-Twilight...my favorite pet...ghost wolf...finally usefull again after the patch

So far i have 2 pets:
Cat named Sabbyfur after my own RL cat. Chose one of the Springpaws since i wanted a cat pet and i was busy grinding.
Gorilla named Bigfoot. Chose the groddoc ape model since i knew where to get a gorilla of decent level to me.

Gorilla-Gorilladin
Cat (orange)-Hobbes. Was gonna be Fuzzytard, but had to go hobbes
Devilsaur-Rex
Wasp-no name as of yet

Hmm let me see,
Boar: Grunter= Grrrrhunter
Cat: Ghostsabre=Gayle
Dino: Devilsaur= Sue Barker as she is my best friend on the tele :-)

Recently i tamed Nuremoc (rare 70 Chimera)and its named Purple Pain

I have tamed a few of the exotics and various other "new" pets and here is what is in my stables now:

Kittycaticus ----- King B (White Tiger - STV) and my Perma Pet
Widower --------- NightWeb Spider (Black/Red) - stabled & soon to be released
THUD -------------- Ironhide Devilsaur
GrapeApe --------Silverback Patriarch
BigBug -----------Slithid Ravager


I have recently tried a chimerra (released), a crab (released), a corehound (released), an owl (HATED and turned into pet food).

My am very happy with the gorilla and the Slithid. A web that not only snares but applies a DoT is not anything to discount.

Update on my pets, 2 new exotics i want to try for Dungeons / PvP

Chimera named DoubleDragon
Red Silithid named Twitch, u seen how much these bugs move around? ADD i tell you

Black cat - Meow (he's been with me forever)
White Gorilla - ButtPicker (just seemed appropriate)
probably going to get a wasp, based on what I hear about them for PVP

Stable Update -

Released Widower & Kittycaticus with the arrival of WotLK. I also released THUD the Devilsaur and then promptly ganked him from behind, skinned him and cooked him for buffs.

Afterwards, I tamed the Hellfire Ramparts Wardog who I named SouthPaw (fights from the left side and is fast becoming my ace). Terrific looking pet, nice buff.

I also tamed a black tiger near Skettis to replace King B, who had to go back to ruling over STV. I have not yet named this tiger, so until then, he hunts for me as Cat. Once he earns his stripes, A name will surely come to mind.

Next up: A rhino or a hyena. Still trying to decide there. I like the idea of a ferocity pet with a snare.

Hulkababy - Lvl 70 Orc Hunter - Maelstrom

I've had one pet since the beginning: a cat. Took me forever to name him, but though of a good one: Aslan. He actually kinda looks like the lion himself.

2 new pets for me--

A demon wolf from Zul'drak, currently named Bolt but he needs something much more impressive imo.
A ghost hydra from Sholazar, named Sassy (herother heads are named Nibbles and Bits).

Still keeping the old ones though.

My Humar the Pridelord is called "Blackwidow". Nothing beats a black cat for me :)
