Wow shs nerf is awful :: Free Realms

So i didnt realize how bad the ShS nerf was until i was in some organized pvp and dear god, mages are a bish now.
My old strategy was kinda reliant on shs being useful while rooted.
On top of that, the chill effect from their frost armor wasnt too bad before, but for some reason it feels like i just cant catch them now. was their frost armor's move penalty buffed?

Anyone have any suggestions for taking down mages now?

Same here, feels like I am moving slower than before.

VARP or a 0/18/43 ShS build. Imp Sprint/Prep is almost a must now.

I tried a 5/5/51 build and it was garbage. I only took shadow dance because i 'figured' it was just 1 point might as well put it somewhere.
Honor among thieves was nice having a boosted seal fate effect for 3 points, and with that and slaughter from the shadows reducing hemo energy cost, it was incredibly CP efficient, but the survivability is kinda crap right now against mages (and i suspect DKs when they come out). I found a lot of things, especially in BGs, would die before I could make efficient use of the extra CPs i gained.

Shadow dance is total fail, and the only situation that I can think of where it would be decent sucks now that frost armor got buffed/we got nerfed.

I'm not gonna try VARP until the sprint glyph gets fixed, but I think i might go with that 0/18/43.

I was battling a really well geared frost mage and whereas before it was a fairly even fight, now? no chance at all. I think what they forgot is they nerf'd it PLUS gave all these great new abilities to mages and other classes. I'm mean his blizzard almost killed me!!! It's like everyone has high resilience and i have none. As my 3rd 70 i was finally getting well geared and had figured out how to play against all other classes, now? it's like i just turned 70 again and i'm up against S4 geared ppl all the time. Thanks for wasting my time Blizz!
