SelfcastingFollow

#1 Oct 16 2008 at 4:33 AM Rating: Decent
Hi, I notice a difference in how to cast/heal yourself. Before the patch i could simply press the button in the toolbar and it would heal myself (of buff, or bandage, or whatever). After the patch however i need to click on myself before the buff takes place. Does anyone know of way around this. I already died a few times because i thought i was healing myelf, while in fact i wasnt...;-((

Some of your interface options have reset to defaults with the patch installation. Go into the Interface Options and check Auto Self Cast.

Edited to add: It's in the Combat section.

#showtooltip
/cast [nomodifier, target=player] Renew; [modifier:shift, target=target] Renew

The above is the template for most of the macros I use. I have Renew keybound to "[". Casts on me by default and on my target when I hold shift. Have similar macros for all my heals, and shield.

Code is fun. Spelling is not.

edit for spelling

need to add the /stopcasting line between the #showtooltip and the /cast when I get home. I forgot to yesterday.
