With Wrath our auto shot has been unlinked so you can ignore it. Thus shot rotations are gone as we knew them. The new shot rotations is just using our best shots as they come off CD.

NOTE: to make this work, go into settings and turn on the auto shot checkbox. Without this the autoshots won't work properly. Check out the PTR-Live thread for the discussion we had when we figured this out.

cheers.

To be more specific, it's the option for Auto Attack/Auto Shot under the combat tab in the interface panel.

If you want to leave this turned off for quick Raptor Strikes, you can still use the 3:2 shot rotation macro to fix the problem.

Edit: It won't force a 3:2 rotation, so don't look for it. All it does is force Auto Shot to fire when it can.

Will this also take care of the auto targeting that is going on?

I noticed while raiding last night that as soon as the kill target died I would automatically target the closest mob. This could have been bad, a couple of times I shot the sheep. Pre-patch, this would have gotten some significant commentary from the raid leader. Thank god for the nerf.

There should be another option for toggling auto-attack when switching targets, at least there used to be.
