Well blizz still hasnt brought khadgar up so ive been messing with talent calculators

lvl 70 build
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0xGbhVckAdhV0ohZcxMh

lvl 80 build
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=0xGbhVcsAdhVzotZcxcub

didnt go for the bonus DoT damage talents other than imp moonfire

any feedback? i dont really know much about boomkins other than what ive read, the build is for my wife who really doesnt have the time to research things (im very well experienced with druids, just never been boomkin myself), so i do it for her and relay a condensed version to her (but what can i say, wow is 95% common sense so it isnt that hard to get the hang of)

I am pretty well stuck in the same position since my realm is still offline as well. Logged on to consider the exact same thing as "Everythingistaken"; I wanted to plan my impending re-spec and although I like this suggested build I will probably sacrifice the one extra Balance Point in to Resto to fill in Omen of Clarity. With the new changes I just cant let it get too far away from me, especially since I just got it again at 67 after a full Balance respec at 60. I love Natures Reach so I may swap it for Advanced moonfire as well since it gives me spell reach + Sublety effect = to 3 points in the resto tree. Intensity for sure as it is amazing with the Dreamstate combination.

Looks like I am going to start stacking more Spirit with my Intelligence...

This is my plan for 70 now.

Typhoon is my first point in the new era to see how it is.

lol, i didnt fully read the new text on natures reach XD good thing you posted that, switching from imp moonfire to that

and dropping 3% spell damage debuff for a free cast chance is a good idea now that you mention it :)

I tried several variations on the PTR for Moonkin.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/druid/talents2.html?tal=50320031253310052133340112510000000000000000000000000000020000000000000000000000000

My druid has S2 Kodo gear, so mana isn't too much of an issue. I found in PvP when dueling against other classes spells can miss.

Against NPC's I seem to do more damage.

The other build I like is:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/druid/talents2.html?tal=50320031253010052130340110300000000000000000000000000000020500301200000000000000000

The only problem I had is I never ran out of mana, mobs took longer to kill and I got ownedin PvP all the time.

Poor resto is soo Nerfed it is nuts.

I did the dude before Archimonde and arch himself in hyjal as boomkin and I never ran out of mana.

I used this build here. I also had roughly 1350 spell power and up depending on the buffs I had.

I rarely had to use an innervate or a pot. I topped both damage done and dps going up against arms warriors, mages and a few locks. I was sitting around 1800-1900 dps at all times. Seeing a 7500 SF crit was like crack for my eyes.

Boomkin is unfreakingbelievable now.

Oh, I also use the IS and MF glyph for more of a DoT style play.
