Us Night Elves of course. Sorry my Tauren brothers.

The change to Shadowmeld is in - usable in combat, lose all aggro until it is canceled. In solo play, drops you out of combat entirely, giving you the chance to fly away.

In a raid, Shadowmeld in combination with an out-of-combat res make us the ultimate wipe-recovery, along with our Night Elf priest friends.

I sort of expect a nerf. This is so "OP" I feel guilty ;)

Yet, also very happy!

Is it limited to Caster/Moonkin/ToL, or is it usable in all forms?

I would guess it has the same behavior as before the patch - takes you out of form instantly and directly to shadomelded caster.

I haven't tried since my server isn't up yet. I just rolled a Night Elf on one of the servers that are up to try it.

My wife plays a Night Elf Priest and me a Feral druid. I tank and she heals, we only have to find some dps when we want to run an instance. We're gonna have a lot of fun with our new move -- synchronized death to the all DPSers! :P

All I gotta say is I'm envious. Intsant stealth out of combat... Very cool. I'm sure bleed effects and poisons will keep you from stealthing but still sweet for PVE.

Why link it? Just get on the game and make a NElf and check the racial.

yeah sorry i couldnt log in at the time. for somereason my server didnt get up and running while i was home. sucks i went to work at 10:30 eastern time and it still wasnt up. I swear i have the worst server ever think we are dead last on progression the worst arena teams and now blizz makes us the last server to be up and running. Thank you Anvilmar. if it wasnt for a buddy i work with and some good guildies i would change servers.

But back on the subject i did role a lvl 1 toon on a diff server to try it out. but it didnt work as well as i thought it would.

i casted wrath at max range waited untill the mob got like half way to me. Hit shadowmeld, the mob ran back to where i hit him then ran right back to me. i'm not sure if i was bugged or the latency. the server i picked for my little trial was jumping between 300-600 latency alot so it was kinda glitchy.

It's not usable in cat or bear.

I did the same thing as punk last night. Was in cat and hit the Shadowmeld icon, I went nelf and stealth. Waited a few seconds and jumped. The mob cam back.

Might need to wait longer. Will play around with it some more after work.

Stupid question, but did you wait til you were out of combat before you canceled it?

I tried it many time, it canceled the fight every time. Even in melee range while the mob is beating on me.

In bear/cat form, it does the same thing it used to do: shift you out and take you to shadowmeld. So far it works great for me. :)

Edit: The mob seems to look at you for a second before it decides to go and reset, so indeed it may be that you don't wait long enough to cancel. I was able to go Cat -> Shadowmeld -> flight form, every time. So far :)

Ya, probably didn't wait long enough for the mob to reset. At work so can't check for another 5 or so hours.

No.No.No.

I was still stealthed when it came back to me. Or so i think, cause it was laggy.

But they will come back when you break stealth it even says it on the mouse over. So what you do is on big pulls kill a few, hit shadowmeld, heal up while stealthed and then break shadowmeld and startkilling cause they will run right back to you.

You have to wait for a bit after Shadowmeld.

Tested it tonight. It works. If the mobs walk over you they see you. If you break the Shadowmeld before combat status is gone they see you. If neither of those is true your fine.

Its pretty cool. I see this being abused, not in the OP sense but in the "these people are scrubs f this PuG" sense. Or as a funny thing to do to your friends. Or a reverse taunt.

The reverse taunt is actually a nice utility with the new ability. As now you can meld and immediately pass aggro to an off tank. If the off tank is number two of course. Lucky Omen works, mostly still not showing TPS always but does track next in line on aggro charts well enough.
