Tested out the Glyph of Slice n' Dice with 51/5/5 tonight in ZA. With the insta-refresh from Cut to the Chase, it's really a non-issue on this one. I was having absolutely no problems at all keeping SnD up (usually with a 4- or 5-point Envenom), although I can see how the glyph would be an absolute must for any Combat build. I'll post a bit more when I get around to testing out Combat Fist/Dagger.

I wasn't thinking aloud, either, I merely noted I did not know that before. You two imbeciles are the only ones ******* retarded enough to get confused about what I was doing. Congrats, morons.

Thanks again Demea. I figured that with CttC SnD would become a non-issue for Muti rogues who picked it up. However, I'm back into the state of confusion as to wich glyphs I should get. Also how do you like mutilate now (I've not gotten to play Echos of Doom yet as my computer was freakin out on tuesday and I hadn't realized but my time had expired on wednesday).

Haha, Since you first posted to my flame at 1:25PM, Then at 2:19 you said "I am, right now, "doing my research" before I start playing." Hmmm I would take it as you started to do you research because of me :) idiot.

2nd. I was done thinking/talking to you around 3:30Pm but.... then you posted at 2:25am "If you think what you did was flaming, or that YOU have a major impact on me then you're even more pathetic than I thought." I'd take it that i did have an impact on you... Almost 12 hours later and your still crying to me. Who's Pathetic?

Well, I had a chance to buy some more glyphs hoping they would "fix" my sprint bug. I replaced the sprint glyph with evasion and saw that I now had 20secs with the glyph which is correct. Slap back the sprint one hopefully to see it working correctly and got 2.75 min cd :(

I guess I need to be more patient but the glyphs were cheap and I was in testing mode.

Er, no, I did research because (the clue was in the sentence!) I was about to start playing as soon as my patch finished downloading. I'm not crying, I'm insulting you vitriolically, you pea-brained twerp.

P.S. It's still you.

Currently using the SnD and Garotte majors with Blurred Speed and Safe Fall minors. Might pick up the Vanish one if I can find it but not too worried about that.

The vanish one probably sucks if the speed effect is gone when vanish breaks. Vanish bug ftw.

What's the Safe Fall one like? Do you really notice a difference? Can you for example jump off the EOTS rock without losing health?

Was able to jump from the UC blimp without any damage from a spot that used to kill me. So, yeah, it's notable ;)

I decided on the evicerate one and the Garrote one (playing mutilate and loving it). I ran heroic Arcatraz with these I didn't notice a suber big increase course I was also trying out Envenom (I would swap between Envenom and Evicerate). I plan to pick up the Safe fall one and the Blurred speed one once the market is flooded with them and the price sinks.

The glyph that lets you run on water is really helpful in Arathi Basin when you need to get to the Blacksmith, or from the Blacksmith to anywhere else in a hurry. Attacking from the water side is something nobody expects. I've gotten a few whispers asking how I did it.

With the coming Sprint glyph nerf in 3.0.3, I've switched to running SS/Evis glyphs for major.

My minors are Vanish, Blurred Speed, and Safe Fall.

Gotta admit I really like the pick pocket and distract minor glyphs.

Blurred Speed is like sharks with friggin' laserbeams attached to their friggin' heads though. And Safe Fall is just lovely.

I've been thinking about the lockpicking glyph... It's fairly cool, just don't think it's worth the spot =(

They're correcting the tooltip. The 15sec reduction in the CD is the INTENDED effect and the 60 sec reduction on the tooltip is the error. :P

That said, as a Combat spec rogue I'm liking the SS and SnD glyphs. As soon as I can get my hands on them (aka my Hunter finally learns them, cheap ******* that I am), I'll be using Blurred Speed, Vanish, and Safe Fall.

No it's not. It was 60 secs on beta.

The new effect is -5 secs on the duration of Sprint for +30% movement speed increase, effectively increasing your movement to 200% (same as an epic ground mount) during the duration of Sprint.

Why am I the first one to mention the Backstab Glyph? A 20% increase in damage of Backstab to stunned opponents? My opponents are stunned when I Backstab them anyways, so it's basically a 20% increase in damage to my Backstab! Yes please!

Most people don't play backstab builds.

I currently am, because it's a lot of fun in BGs, but it's not very viable anywhere else.

Really? I do great DPS with my Backstab build... My Talents basically just boost the base damage of Backstab, boost it's critical damage bonus, and boost it's chance to crit. (Blade Twisting, Puncturing Wounds, Opportunity.)

Essentially I am almost always critting with Backstab, and my crits are usually between 1500-1700. With the Vitality Talent, I can open with a nice Cheap Shot and get in 2 Backstabs for 3000-3400 damage.

With this Glyph I'll be critting for 1800-2040 damage, that is a HUGE increase. Who knows maybe with this Glyph we WILL start seeing a lot more Backstab builds.

No.

BS builds are not DPS builds, and they never will be.

Mutilate does much more damage and more DPS than BS builds.

For burst builds, BS is great. I do ~4-5k ambushes, ~2200 BSs, and I have pretty good mobility (though I lack Imp Sprint, but what can you do Smiley: frown).

Backstab is not viable without Slaughter from the Shadows. EVER, and certainly not in a DPS build.

It's not like if you spec another way you can alter the facts.

All of the things I'm saying are mathematically proven.

Read the ******* sticky.
