So what glyphs is everything thinking about using (I myself am not sure and wouldn't mind advice for a muti.l build.) Heres the most up to date list I know of. http://wotlkwiki.info/index.php/Inscription#tab=Rogue

SnD.

The SS and Rupture ones won't even come close, and it frees up 3 points to go into other (read: better) talents like Turn the Tables.

Eviscerate, Rupture and Evasion or Sprint... Not quite sure though.

As for minors, Blurred Speed, Safe Fall and Vanish.

So this doesn't stack with the talent?

The whole point of getting the glyph is so you don't have to take the talent. It doesn't matter if they stack, that's three extra points to put elsewhere.

Yea makes sense. Not thinking clearly tonight due to the 6 hour delay my server has in authenticating.

Well, it "might" matter if they stack with 3-finisher cycles, no? Really honest question as I'm finding certain cycles (variations of) dependent on glyphs.

The rupture glyphs, among a few others (Blade Flurry, Adrenaline rush, Hemo...basically anything requiring "Ink of the Sea"), are not even implemented yet because they require Northrend herbs. So for now it looks like you should stick with SnD and Garrote/SS. I didn't notice the AP scaling that differently with Evisc like people said it would so I would pass on that glyph, for now at least.

Thank you all very much... So, I should spend lots of gold buying the SnD and rupture ones. (Yah! price gouging (see we rogues arn't the only ones...))

Really? Because I was popping off 2000+ non-crit Eviscerates last night.

Wait, people can use inscription without buying WotLK?

Huh.

Don't injure your brain further on my account.

No, I haven't heard anyone on my server talk about it, I haven't finished patching yet, as the patch came out today and I don't spend my wednesdays loafing about. Personally, I think the point at which someone passingly acknowledging ignorance of a patch that does not yet affect them gets under your skin is the point you should consider suicide. Look to it would be my advice.

O I would love to injure my brain on your account. Since you can't injure your brain and look some of this info up. Since it's all over the tradeskill forum.

Since your "Posting from Britain (Old America to you yanks)" You wouldn't have been able to get the patch untill today (So no fault with the whole "People shouting about it on your server".

But. Patch Notes? Here http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/ Hope that helps. Tho they have been around for weeks.....

As for suicide....Now why would i go ahead and do that? It's much better to prove you wrong for your lack of research and showing you how easy it is to find the info you want instead of posting

"Wait, people can use inscription without buying WotLK?

Huh."

Good day Sir.

If I had, you'd be justified in ******** at me, although you'd still be a failure for doing it so ham handedly.

on the original off-topic derailing... your post didnt hurt no one, but it was the internet equivilent of thinking out loud

wasnt a question, and the posts you coulda gathered an assumption... when having to actively type it out, it does look silly on that angle

as for the off-off-topic flame war yall are starting... use PMs people, geez christ

Since this is a forum i don't care about my "atrocious grammar and communication".

I can see how you could be confused about this topic. The Topic is named "Glyphs", and people are talking about which ones they want to use for their rogue.

On a side note tho: Im glad to see that your "doing your research". All it took was a little flaming on my behalf to get you to do a little bit of work. Cheers Mate!

I've got the Sprint one, and it's awesome. I can sprint pretty much all the time now. Last night there wasn't much to choose from, and what was there was for stuff I never use.

I have been looking around and i can't seem to find an answer to this question. If you choose to use a Glyph and want to replace it a few months later. Are you able to just replace it? Or would you have to pay to have it removed? I was thinking of getting some of the available ones but i don't want to be stuck with these glyphs forever.

Do some research why don't you?

/sarcasm off

They work just like gems. You just put another one in over it and the old one is gone.

Lol, Yeah thats what i figured. I did some research! But no one really talks about that aspect of the Glyphs. Thanks tho!

I got the glyph of sprint last night which says it reduces the cd on sprint by 60sec but I was only getting like 15 seconds off since I went from 3 min to 2.75 minutes. Not sure if it was a bug last night or if they fixed it yet. Just thought it was weird. Can anyone confirm?

I dont know if I'd buy the SnD Glyph AND forgo the Imp SnD talent. If that is what you mean... Beacause the Glyph adds only 3 seconds opposed to the 10 sec gain of Imp SnD. I'd say get both and take the stack effect. Also to get the 51 point talent, this is one of the best combat talents still I believe..

Now if I'm incorrect about this specific Glyph stacking, I personally would take Imp SnD.

I can. I'm getting 1.75 min with Endurance.

Same problem here.

Replaced it with an evasion glyph and evasion has a proper 20 second duration now.
