IF YOU DON'T WANT A LONG, POINTLESS STORY SCROLL DOWN....

Quick background. I rolled a sham a long time ago and got him to the mid 40s. After bordom on my mage I went ahead and lvled him up to 70 which I hit a few weeks ago. I haven't done PvE in a long while (mage is PvP only). My shams guild has everything up to BT on farm and we're just gearing some people up for Wrath.

So what this really means is that I don't know much about shams.... or healing for that matter. I have 4/5 T4, 1600 healing, and have probably ran heroics 3 or 4 times, kara once, and gruuls once. I've played for a long time, sham is my 4th 70, and know how to spam Jesus beams as a raid healer. What I don't know is how in the world I'm going to spec in 3.0 with only being a lvl 70. If I want to get to the bottom of the tree I'm going to have to leave stuff out and I really don't know what to bail on.

...TO HERE.

What's a good resto build for 3.0?

3.0 Resto Build

Now the 3 points in ancestral awakening are optional. Those could go in Healing Way just as easily. I figured... what the hell, let's play with that new talent. lol Ancestral Awakening is very situational and may not even proc during an entire raid due to how often we cast single target heals.

I really think that's probably the best raiding build come 3.0 though (with minor changes for personal preference).
