Devilsaurs, as we know, could be the top dps pet (if they fix the bug with rake from cats.) and having a T-rex by your side is awesome. However, I have been put off by the waddle they have because when in the wild in ungoro they move so incredibly fast, so fast, that it takes a dash to actually kick in the run animation. I have a thought as to a solution for this, but I need a beta testing hunter to confirm for me. Tame Tyrantus, a level 71 Devilsaur in netherstorm. He has a much slower movement in the wild so his run animation might kick in at slower movements by your side. Also, be sure to zone, and log in and out to make sure whatever code it is that makes him keep his animation to run will stick.

This is all crazy and cosmetic, but so is rolling a hunter right?

The netherstorm devilsaur has a much nicer walk when tamed then the one from UnGoro.

Here's something funny I noticed though. Take a devilsaur and use eyes of the beast. Then time your jumps so that you take off right as you land. If you time it right, the devilsaur doesn't move and it looks like it's using a pogo stick to jump around.
