Leveling 70-80Follow

Probably the same as always:

#1. Enhancement
#2. Elemental
#3. Resto

Because enhancement doesn't have to cast to do damage, they can conserve mana for healing and yet still kill fast.

Since you are resto you might wanna make a change. Some shammys are gonna level resto just so that they can heal new instances from the beginning. But we all know how "fun" resto soloing is =/

I really hope you have some offspecc set of gear in bank waiting? I'm myself missing neck and feet from my enha set so that's the way I'll level. Mainly cos I really enjoy mechanics and speed of enha and also cos I already got 70 mage to level.

If you don't have gear for enha now you can easily respecc elemental for X-pac and use your healing gear (spell power change) from 70 to 75 and then go enhacement after getting that gear from Q's & instances. I'm sure there will be both (or all 3) specc out there since people are so used to their toons that they wont change specc for leveling.

i found ele was a lot faster than enhancement after once i got a fair bit of spell dmg.
in groups, i would be 10-20% above the enh shammy, and miles above anything else.

If you were to keep your weapons upto date with your level i can see how enh may be as good as ele, but its just not nessescary when leveling.
