I played a Affliction lock from level 1 to level 65. I have now changed to playing a Demonology lock. My current build is
7/43/7. I play on a PVP server and typically I solo quest and grind. When playing the Affliction lock, I used the voidwalker and had a macro that laid out the dots and I then sit back. There is so much about the new felgaurd play style I just don't understand. I mean there is talents like soul link, demonic sacrifice. Right now I am just sending in the pet, a couple of dots, life tap, health funnel.

Can someone please help me learn how to play this build?
Gear = Should I look for +Sta gear or +Crit chance gear?
If anyone knows a good Demon spec'd macro for grinding / pvping?

Please help??

Spell Damage > Sta > Int

Send the felguard in, CoA, Corruption, Immolate, Lifetap(to full), Drain Life, Health Funnel (if needed) else Shadowbolt.

I personally dislike using macros for leveling. While leveling as you get spells you pay attention(unless you macrod yourway way to outlands) to the damage totals of your spells (coefficients/calculators). So if your DoTs expire you can pick the perfect DoT (less than the current mob health, Pet Damage/Drain Life/Shadowbolt) without wasting mana on DoTs that won't run their full course.

But for completion
/castsequence Curse of Agony, Corruption, Immolate

To elaborate: Macros are bad for warlocks and spriests both. Why? Resists/immunities/etc.

Feasibly, you could probably use this, however:

/cast [pet:felguard] Intercept
/cast Curse of Agony

or this:

/petattack
/cast Curse of Agony

Though, on the castsequence macro, it would be more sensible for your GCD (if you have instant Corruption - most leveling FG builds do) to use:

/castsequence Curse of Agony, Immolate, Corruption
