Even before you leave the city for a grand adventures in tanking I'd suggest you get the Felsteel set (legs, gloves, helm) all crafted. Pretty cheap too.
After that, I'd suggest a few routes:
SV for your Devilshark cape off the last boss.
SL for the trinket off the 2nd boss (Mr. IT'S TIME FOR FUN!!!) and Murmur drops your starting tanking shoulders (... of the bold). Too bad you have to run the whole instance for a shot at them... I went 1 for 8? on my drop back then.
Mech (breath it, live it, love it!)... thanks to the drop rate for me on the tanking chest off the 2nd boss in there 1 of 13'ish. And the Sun Eater off the last boss on heroic, I became Exaulted with Shatt, and got my 1st epic shield from the vedor.
BM/OHB like crazy also. Get them pants. Great stam and dodge I believe. Again, from the rep vendor.
If you can get mats for your Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer tanking gun, I suggest it. You'll have that a looooong time, but honestly the mats are such a PITA to get. I was relieved when I got mine.
That should start you off. Starting off you'll need to gem for +def. After your gear is starting to improve, you honestly will get uncrit from just the armor alone.
*Edit*
Oh sword. I hope you did not toss your Crystalline Kopesh from questing lol... I loved mine. Lasted up until Sun Eater I believe.
I see you have a few 70s. You in a raiding guild? Ever run KZ fun runs? Or have a really really well geared main tank in the guild? Maybe leech off them to jump from non-tanking gear to tanking gear.... However, you'll be losing tanking experience from running the lowbie instances.
*Finally* IMO if you're looking to be a tank, then go all out. Respec. You have other 70 toons to farm with. Once your warrior gets better geared you'll be able to farm easy as Prot. It'll make the many, many, many PUGs run smoother than a DPS in Tanks clothing will lol.
