Ok, so I'm doing arena with sl/sl lock. I'm quite poor geared (a few pve epics, mostly blues and some greens). We're holding at 1600+, because my lock is very good.
Next week I should get veteran's boots (40 BoJ), guardian's bracers and s4 gloves.

Until now, I gemmed always +resil +stam, for survivability. I have ~150 resilience and 8k hp now, will get ~70 resilience and ~500 hp more next. So I thought I should regem for more +heal and mp5 stats, as I only have 850 +heal and 110 mp5.

So, do you think I should keep +res +stam gems, or regem for more +heal +mp5 stats? If so, how to regem each slot? yellow, red, blue...

Thanks in advance.

I say try it out with some blue/green gems and see if your survivability goes up. If your survivability drops like a rock, I would go back to resil/stam gem/enchants to pull you through until you get your desired pvp gear.

Imo: Grind out your s2 gear or get the off set gear and use your arena points for s3 or s4 if you have the rating for it.

Healing/Spirit are actually my choice. Spirit will help regen, increase effectiveness of Innervate, and will add to the buff your tree form gives. That is, of course, if you use tree form in PvP(most don't b/c it makes you too slow).

thanks. Another question. for a beginner, what spec is better? Standart resto with feral charge and IS, or resto with DS, moonkin?

That really depends on the circumstances. I prefer to play BGs/Arena as non-tree resto w/ Feral Charge, but DS Restokin is also a very popular spec. That will all change in a week or 2 when the new talent trees come out, so don't worry about it too much.
