From what I read the Affliction talent build is the best one to use for solo PvE leveling. I am on that path, but wonder if I should go to 41 points before putting any points elsewhere? I am shooting for a 41/0/20 build as I saw it as being highly recommended. Also, on this build, does the Felhunter play a useful role or can I stay with the Void where I have the most experiance?

What I did was just work my way down the affliction tree until Unstable Affliction. Then I put some points into demonology. Unstable affliction is nice because of course the extra dot. Also down at the bottom of the tree is imp howl of terror. That one is also nice just incase you get some extra adds and need a getaway plan. About the felhunter....I don't believe that there is any use for him unless your in a Battleground. When leveling your better off sticking with the void. Hope that helps.

Personally, once I got Dark Pact, I almost never used Big Blue again, but I drain tanked. If you Drain Hunt, stick with the VW. If your a Drain Hunter, I doubt that will change even with the new talents. However, with the new talents, Drain Tanking with the Felhunter will probably be an option, after Dark Pact that is.
