So after the last update on the PTR I was messing around with the latest spreadsheet for gear and builds at lvl 70.. ie. after the patch but before release, and I noticed, it's dps was significantly lower than when I used the exact same build and gear for the previous one.
The only change to muti since between them was the change to focused attacks, which unless its a typo was a slight buff (changing it from 1 energy to 2). After awhile noticed that the snd up time went from 97% to 81% so I changed the rotation from 5e5r to 2e5r to get a 100% up time and dps increased by about 2%. It was still 77 dps lower than what it was on the previous spreadsheet but it was better.
So am I missing something, or is it a glitch in the sheet or is a 2e5r cycle actually better than a 5e5r cycle until you pick up imp snd?

Most people are running three finisher cycles or 5e/5n cycles. I don't know why you'd use rupture when envenom does more damage, refreshes SnD, and makes a better rotation.

I *think* theo can provide some responses without chewing someones head off. Barring that they proposed the question as an intelligent being as the OP did. Had 1) numbers 2) understanding of class mechanics and 3) asked an understandable question.
