Feral

* Mangle - Cat damage increased from 160% normal damage to 200% normal damage. Additional damage increased as well. (507 to 634 for Rank 5)
* Rake damage has been increased. (from [ 6% of AP + 387 ] to [ 18% of AP + 1161 ] for Rank 7)
* Swipe now affects an unlimited amount of targets

Talents
Balance

* Nature's Splendor now increases the duration of Lifebloom by 2 seconds. (Down from 3)

Feral

* Protector of the Pack now reduces the damage you take by 1/2%. (Down from 3%)

Glyphs

* Glyph of Regrowth - Increases the healing of your Regrowth spell by 20% if your Regrowth effect is still active on the target. (Old - Increases the amount of your initial Regrowth heal by 50% if your Regrowth effect is still active on the target.)
* Glyph of Aquatic Form - Increases your swim speed by 50% (up from 20%) while in Aquatic Form.

Mangle damage increase will help kitties DPS in PvP as Shred is difficult to pull off on a moving target. The Rake damage buff also is a PvP thing to help compensate for our bread and butter PvE attack being a low percentage of our damage output.

Will also help solo play as beyond an initial Shred or two it isn't used that much.

The Swipe change has been expected for a few days now so isn't surprising. Still nice to see it in blue.

The further nerfs to Lifebloom are disheartening. Will are still the kings of HoT healing but we now definitely have a greater incentive to cast direct heals. Kinda lame, I liked the HoT style of healing. PvP nerf that greatly effects how we play in PvE. While Lifebloom was OP in PVP the extent of the nerfs is very unwelcome.

The change to make Protector of the Pack weaker seems unneeded. Were we mitigating to much damage on Beta? And if so was it due to this or armor or some other factor. Makes we wonder if it will be a 2 point talent now. As the new trees are not up as of now. I want to see what the text for it says as before it was a straight 3% per now it is 1% or 2% per so I am not sure how it will work.

edit: here is the update talent calculator Added glyphs also.

Someone on Emmerald's forum has posted that his rake was ticking for 1100 and his rip was ticking for 1300. So rake is a massive buff. I can certainly see it becoming part of our regular rotation if it stays as is. Although trying to keep Savage Roar, Rake & Rip up all the time might start getting a bit complicated :)

MMO Champ is passing off the change to Protector of the Pack as something from a blue post when they actually have it listed as "Undocumented Changes." My guess would be that it's still bugged, like the previous version was 3/3/3%. World of Raids and wowhead have it listed as 1/2/3%, and of course, the official talent calculator is so far back they still call the talent "Mother Bear". That being said, I've heard that feral tanks are still mitigating more damage than any of the other tanks right now by a large margain, and we're back to actually being the tank with the largest health pool.

Ya the MMO talent calculator seems update for feral now as the 1/2/3% change is in the tree now.

Blizz's updated calculator still does say Mother Bear and have other inaccuracies compared with information on the newest patches.

Was confused the other day as all the other changes were in the respective trees except for that one so it kind of threw me off.

Can't wait for the expansion. Starting to get antsy. Excited by most of the feral changes.

Hoping Quor starts up his druid history again, that plus the expansion would be like nerd Christmas for druids.

The Protector of the Pack talent has not changed - they just fixed the tooltip that said 3/3/3% - it now says 1/2/3% which is how the talent has always been and still is.

I agree, best thread around

Though it looks like they are really getting to the kind of stuff we will see come patch day, since this is only 3 changes in the new build.
