So the sticky is a bit out of date I found.
I am stuck at 170 lockpicking and I cant get these 5 skillups from anything. There is a gap in junkboxes, can't lockpick SM doors, I'm hunting for locked chests atm.
Anyone have an updated 1-300 guide?

I think you're in the usual sticky spot. I went to Desolace and did the chests along the coast for the 5 or so points I needed (iirc).
Try wowwiki/lockpicking, I think it's pretty up to date.

The rogue trainers tell you where to go to level your lockpicking in game if you ever get stuck.

Actually it's because I leveled lockpicking something like four years ago.
That and I have rarely logged on in the past week or two.
i got stuck there to, and got pissed.
there is a LW crafted glove that give +5 to lockpicking. i used this to bridge the gap as well as to have handy for the times i was a few points shy.
