Second post!

Anyway, Armored to the Teeth was mildly nerfed to 2 AP : 360 Armor, which makes it worse for Prot Warriors (no SBV) but as good as it was with Kings for DPS. As I note in the thread, it's still not even close to enough to make up for the massive difference in stat totals between Plate and Leather, but it's not a horrible change.

More to the point, Thunderclap had the threat increased and now _hits an unlimited number of targets_, which is pretty huge as we can actually, you know, AE tank large packs now. It's been a long, long time coming but we finally got it.

Revenge and Shield Slam also got some degree of damage boosts, and Revenge can now proc Sword and Board. How strong these changes are remains to be seen, but this is a rather nice fix to round off the issues Prot still had. We'll see what they do with Arms and Fury.

Oh man, I can so see myself strapping on an axe and a shield to level ... it looks like it's shaping up to be an insane amount of fun.

Ofc, this is before GC releases the intended Arms/Fury changes ... that'll probably change my mind again (I really REALLY hope we're not going to be disappointed).

As promised, here are a few dps changes. There will probably be a few more over the next few days.

Fury

Unending Fury changed to increase damage of Slam, Whirlwind and Bloodthirst by 2/4/6/810% (it no longer offers a rage discount).

Arms

Sudden Death now grants 10 rage, so that following the Execute you have 10 rage left over. In the course of testing this, we also decided Execute by itself wasn't doing enough damage, so it got a buff too (could be around +15%), which will also help the talent.

Bladestorm breaks roots and snares when initially used. It doesn't break other forms of CC, largely because we suspect that if it did, that functionality in PvP would overshadow the actual cool whirlwindy part.

Strength of Arms now grants 2%/2%/2 Str/Sta/Expertise per point. (Still 2 points total.)

Analysis coming.

EDIT: Nice buffs to Strength of Arms, and Bladestorm is actually usable now.

Nice change to Unending Fury to make it not suck as much **** as it did before, too. Bloodsurge is still overpriced, but... okay. Sudden Death change is actually kind of bad since 10 Rage doesn't solve the swing time, but... okay.

So lemme get this straight ...

1) imp WW increases WW damage by 20%
2) Unending fury increase WW damage by another 10%

O.O

Oh, and slam and BT damage up ..

Dammit, and I had finally perfected a build which ignored Undending Fury :-\

Back to the drawing board.

Thanks Zip, rate-ups for Joo.
