Deathknight.info tried a few attempts lately of doing UD Strat in an attempt to get the Baron's mount. While the guy doing it doubted he'd get it, he was interested in the time it would take.

So far, looks like it'll be around only 12 minutes, which is awesome.

I'm so doing this.

I don't care if it takes me ten times a night for the rest of the year, my DK WILL ride around on Deathcharger reins. It might look the same as an Undead mount but I will know it's not.

Hey, I might even get the Runeblade into the bargain for extra lore points

Mwahaha, I already have the Deathcharger's Reins on my Druid :)

Takes me 30 minutes in and out, though :-( But I'm level 70, not 80.

Edit: The guy also lied about his time. He starts at the 45-minute countdown mark; it takes at least 30-45 seconds to get there, even at level 80. And he also doesn't include the time it takes to get out. He made quite a number of mistakes, but in an actual speed run I would estimate it would be about 13-15 minutes in and out.

PS: Deathknight looks freaking awesome!

A bit off-topic, but on the PTR it is currently obscenely easy to solo Strat with a T4-gear Ret Paladin. It is impossible to die unless you get chain-webbed by those damn Crypt Beasts, and you can always Bubble out of it. I can clock in a run on my PTRadin at around 18mins, not including exit time. The only boss that really requires any brains is the Crypt Fiend guy as he webs and silences, everyone else is easy meat.

Seriously, a Ret Paladin now really feels like a Feral Druid, healing and damaging at the same time is awesome.

I'm assuming you're Feral? takes me about 40-45 mins for my Boomkin. :(

On the post I linked he says he made a number of errors, he only did it twice. As for not counting the time to run out, I wouldn't have thought to count that.
