What's going to be better for PvP? Shard of contempt or Bloodlust Brooch?

Thanks.

When in doubt I normally check out shadowpanther.net which tends to answer all my questions about gear. Plus, they put up some of the new Wrath gear, so you can see how what you have now at 70 stacks up against some of the level 80 stuff.

Yeah, the only problem with that is that you'd have to be a moron to use this or this (or hell, 90% of the level 80 stuff on the list) over Shadowsong Panther or Berserker's Call.

Shadowpanther is great for PvE gear. I use it a lot when I'm looking at PvE gear because it's easier with my knowledge of the game to look at the MAEP value as well as the stat difference between my two pieces of gear and then make my decision.

But it's absolute **** for PvP. It basically tells you, "hey, PvP trinkets are awesome!" and nothing else because the chart is so ******* bad.

Here's the rule of thumb: you want a "use: +AP" trinket with AP already on it. The new JC trinkets are pretty much terrible compared to the 70 epics.

So far no trinket I've seen has passed other than the level 80 Battlemaster (AP only) trinket. There are a few that give armor pen, but that's a much less useful stat than AP.
