They have a section on mages. It has a section of gear based on spec. Many suggestions for each slot. Mix and match to your content. Focus on spell hit.

Take Tailoring to 375.

Get your frost or fire set. As WotLK is quick approaching, you don't want to go crazy, but both are reasonably easy to attain with some effort..

Do the Overlord quest (HF quest)
