your CS and DS are used in the SoV stacking, pop a judgement. switch to SoC for a swing then CS and DS again. by then SoV should be about half done. switch to SoV, pop a judgement, then CS and DS to make sure ur stack is refreshed. repeat.

i cant visualize the rotation timeline fully without actually playing. but, the theory behind this is:
-always have SoV ticking
-SoV judgement > SoC(etc) judgement
-not wasting swings on SoV overstacks

this is similar to the current tanking rotation of stacking SoV and switching to SoR between refreshing SoV. but i can see the dilema that we have too many abilities bundled so closely together. it'll be tough to squeeze in time for wings or a trinket.

Right, but that's not the point being made by me and tool, tommy. Sure, there is time to do all that seal switching. If you never throw Avenging Wrath. Or Flash of Light. Or Hammer of Justice, Hammer of Wrath, or any Hand spell. The point is, there's probably a dozen things you could better spend that GCD on, several of which boost up DPS in and of themselves, and several others that are immensely useful for personal and/or group survivability. Nearly EVERY palladin ability is now very useful, and there's not enough time to use them all to the point of keeping everything useful on cooldown as it is. Even from straight up DPS considerations alone, I would not be completely certain that "seal twisting" would actually be increasing DPS; even if it is, the small increase it would provide over picking a seal and staying with it can't be worth giving up the CC, interrupts, bubbles, heals, threat reducers and effect-removals you could be throwing instead.

ok, i finished most of my testing of the seals. i used

http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?paladin=052320510033310302135131351000000000000000000000000000050000000000000000000000

and had the stats i posted in the above post. i'll compile my results and post them later. probably tomorrow while i'm at work... right now i've just spent 4 hours looking at a test dummy and feel like doing something other than think about that.... lol, just wanted to be able to link my spec i used so people know what i was using when i did the tests.

depending on how SoC performs in the final analysis i might go with a spec more like:

http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?paladin=052320500033310302135231351000000000000000000000000000050000000000000000000000

more info tomorrow... just fyi, this is still the lvl 70 testing and i haven't been able to find any glyphs on that server that the toon i have copied over can afford. Those tests will have to come later. might only be able to do them on the lvl 80 premade.

Hmm, I don't know about giving up Vindication, that seems like such a good talent. Maybe you could spare 2 points from crusade? I know 2% increased damage is really nice, but -20% stats? Seems hard to give up.

Does it not work on bosses? I can see not taking it in that case.

Also, does inproved ret aura only matter for the damage they take when hitting you? I.e. not stack with sanctified retribution?

Also, on your second one, would it be worth the +15% from 'Seals of the Pure'? instead of, I don't know what, but that seems pretty huge.

all this theorycraft implies a dps build in raid, most notably on boss fights. in pvp and in 5mans all rotations are thrown out the window, where adaptability is called for. for example, you would not fit polymorph into a mage's dps rotation.
