My PVE Tree I'm sorry but EotS IS AWESOME for PVE too. You ALWAYS take splash damage. For instance HEX LORD in ZA. Many classes can keep dpsing through spirit bolts (aoe shadow damage that causes HUGE PUSHBACK), but an elemental shaman live does ZERO damage during this ability. You can't cast for the entire duration because of pushback. So many fights have aoe damage that causes pushback. You don't really realize how nice 70% pushback resistance is until you have it. For instance frost mages don't have it but fire does. This is another reason why fire is better for pve (along with other talents). It's why healers gets 70% pushback resistance too. Anything that slows down casting is slowing your dps or hps.
I actually like some of the improvements to fire totems. I was thinking about trash like Hyjal where fire nova totem and magma totems can do lots of dps. The stun is amazing for pve and pvp. Imagine Fire Nova with stun on Tidewalker in SSC or on Skeletons on Felmyst for instance. It can buy your healers time to get off heals.
The four points in unrelenting storm could be moved but I couldn't see anywhere I'd rather have them.
PS: I'm not sure about the first tier of enhancement talents now though. -.- Cause flametongue totem is useless with ToW. But improved SoE would be nice when you aren't in a pure caster group. I guess the INT would probably be better for bigger mana pool, more crit, and thus more mana efficiency with clearcasting. The 10% damage reduction to 3 magic schools is nice for raiding but so is the extra 6 yards from storm reach. I don't know, either are pretty strong in my opinion. I just like the higher versatility from extra 6 yards (when bosses move a little you are still in range) and the stun from fire nova for aoe stuff... it's also amazing for pvp.
LB, LB, Frost Shock, Thunderstorm (drop fire nova), LB (since they are snared), Nova explodes and stuns, LB.
