Okay, so stuff generally seems to die when I sneak up behind it and throw a few mangles in its face. BUT, I'm curious as to how I rate up alongside other druids of my level range, and I refuse to post on the O-boards because I never get useful info there, and everybody here is so delightfully...odd. Maybe you can help!

How are my talents? My equipment? I love herbalism and alchemy, just need to find some more formulas. Any other tips on what I should look for, like crafted items or instance drops? Seeing as how I'm level 52, I'm not going to spend an outrageous amount of gold, so keep that in mind! ;).

You seem to be doing just fine gear wise. The stats on your gear are usefull to druids and the gear is lvl appropriate, so nothing there. Only comment I have is on the enchant on the weapon, wich i can only assume is for the look, since proc based enchants still don't work in feral forms.

Your talents could use some work. first of all feral agression is not a very good talent, and should be replaced by ferocity imo. I would also recommend getting 2/2 shredding attacks, wich will allow for a pounce->mangle->shred opener to almost devastate any mob before it can even react. I would take the 2 points from savage fury and put them into shredding attacks, and the I would take the point from nurturing instinct and 1 point from thick hide and put them into furor in the resto tree. You have to start movin towards omen of clarity (OOC) as soon as possible. Trust me, OOC will become your new best friend once you get it. Not worth loosing mangle for though, mangle has already been proven to be pure sex by others (can't remember the exact formula, but it's true).

Heya!

My 2 cents:

- Ferocity is MUCH better than Feral Aggression, so you want to switch that out.
- You need Shredding Attacks, but you do NOT want to drop Savage Fury for that. Take a point out of Nurturing Instinct and a point out of Predatory Instincts for that.
- I would advise to take the other 2 points out of Predatory Instincts as well and start working on your Furor (it is awesome!).
- After that: Naturalist and Omen of Clarity for some added damage and free attacks.

Do not worry item-wise. Level 58 (questing in Outland starts) it will be a completely different game in that area...

Have fun!

^^ The guy above me, ya he said what I would say except for getting Shredding Attacks as Lacerate comes at 66 and you will normally tank in instances I would guess thus lessening the need the cheaper Shred.

I recommend this at level 52.

Go up resto to get Omen of Clarity. Get the rest of Furor first, then 5/5 Naturalist. Then get 5/5 Predatory Instincts. Then stick the last 4 points in a combination of Intensity and Primal Tenacity. Possibly dropping 2/2 Brutal Impact to fill out both.

My spec.
I tank.

edit: I usually have Earthwarden equipped but need more rage so switched weapons for brewfest.

Thanks for the help, everyone, I appreciate it. Any other tips you have would be more than welcome. When I ding 70, it will partially be due to this forum community!

I've also been thinking. I have a level 70 hunter and a 70 mage. WHAT WAS I THINKING?! Druids rule. Simple. I've only done a couple instance runs, but they've all been amazing. Geared for DPS, I took over tanking at one point because the tank sorta..died, and if I hadn't been taking on five mobs by myself I probably would have survived! Awesome!
