Last night, after a particularly hard battle, I decided it was time for my lvl 35 shaman to sit back in a crevasse and catch his breath. Having never used my sentry totem, I thought this would be a good time. I planned to put the totem at the entrance to the crevasse, and sit back a few yards to watch for mobs through it.
The problem was, once I put down the totem, my toon was unable to move away from it. I couldn't move forward, bacckward, jump, go sideways...nothing. Once I recalled the totem (couldn't see the point in letting it expire) I could move as normal. I could shift my sight from my toon to the totem.
What did I do wrong? I know the pooint of this totem is not to have it sitting at my feet.
