If it really does work in arenas...

i mean yeah this could be amazingly OP the mana pot is very very weak though. And granted you would only be able to pot once per fight or maybe 2 if it was very very long as pots now give a debuff not allowing you to pot again. But imagine a 5v5 team with 5 alchemists and a Lock in there...pots + healthstones...if they allow this in arena i fear they will allow soulstones, battle rez's the works

Oh, didn't look at the mana pot, assumed it was similar to the health pot.

Yea...thats not AS good but its still something. And if someone is completely focused on PvP then its another little advantage.

i am thinking a serious rogue pvper will go LW / Alchemist if this pot use in arena is possible. All of the amazing LW enchants are now LW only so this will supply great stats for people compared to non-LW's also if there is a new alchemists stone this will help even more to get the most out of the pot.

Engineering is also possible for the haste enchant in the gloves for some added burst.

yeah i thought about other professions but there will be other enchants for gloves from enchanters, as far as i have seen there are no enchants for legs that are from non-LW's this means if you want stats for your legs go LW.

I seriously doubt that there will be none that are for non Leatherworkers since that was one of the big draws for LWs. Only LWs could make Non-caster Leg Enchants and only Tailors could make Caster Leg Enchants.

From what I understand of the patches is that they aren't BoP, you just can't apply them to a low level item and trade it away.

So you can sell them on the AH etc...

yup from what i have read the text following the description of the leather enchant is basically there to prevent insane twink items. This now makes me want to un-learn LW and pick up alchemy if they can now use pots in arena. Also i assume this is the same regarding the tailoring cloak enchant or no?

surprisingly the tailoring cloak enchant require 400 tailoring to apply to your gear which seems very odd. No imo the professions of choice for a pvper as my understanding goes would be

Alchemy- for the use of pots and say LOL at people who almost kill you before you do pot (bound to get nerfed or made for everyone and not BoP

Blacksmithing- Said this in another post regarding professions, but BS gives you a MH mace and a slowish 1.6s OH Dagger that are equal to what you can get in S5. Also BS can make a belt buckle and attach it to a belt allowing a new socket on the belt. Not sure if thats BoP though so maybe everyone can have it.

Tailoring??- I mean its a long long shot, the enchant on the cloak is nice 1000 armor pen is sweet, and if they are allowing the use of pots maybe just maybe they will allow the use of nets.

Engineering / Enchanting - enchants on rings for enchanters only (every little helps). And engineering gives some nice things + a sweet haste enchant on gloves but with a 2min CD.

I don't see much from other professions that gives you an advantage over someone who is not that profession.

JC gives you prismatic gems that are BoP and are given 33% boosted stats and act as all three gem colors, in addition to any other trinkets they may add (new Panther plz!).

ok yeah the JC gems are amazing. In regards to anyone planning on posting here please post in "WotLK professions" post as these 2 posts (both started by myself so i am not favoring one or the other) are talking about identical things. If you want to keep 2 posts going by all means do it, but thats just my view

Because it is, and will continue to be one of the best professions for PvPers?
