BM vs. MMFollow

#1 Sep 22 2008 at 2:58 PM Rating: Sub-Default
Ok I want to know which does more DPS, BM or MM? And I don't want just random people with no clue. I want people that have run DPS meters that actualy have proof about which does more. And this includes the pet dmg that comes with both.

Thanks

Serpent's Swiftness
Rank 5
Increases ranged combat attack speed by 20% and your pet's melee attack speed by 20%.

Find me an MM talent anywhere close to that and I might try to find some WWS reports.

Why should we do your homework for you? BM does more dps. If you don't believe us we don't care.

It's been a while now since TBC was released. And still people sit with that delusion that MM is the highest PvE dps specc. I think it was yesterday I heard a 70 Hunter heading for T5 content go "if my pet dies, my dps dies, so mm is best dps lol". Tried to explain the various mechanics involved, the raid buffing involved, the importance of attack speed, the availability of the powerful low-tier MM talents and so on. "but my pet dies so fast..."

Ah well. Come 2.4, MM might actually have a place in a raid. BM will still be top dps, I'm sure, but MM won't be a retarded PvE specc either. Well, should there be proper mana batteries in place.

Here's a good test: Try it yourself. One of them is significantly better than the other, and it should be really obvious by just trying it.

One tip. When asking for help, don't start demanding things. No one here owes you anything, we'll help you if we want to and we won't if we don't.
