Hey guys!

I've got the PTR and have coppied my toons. Saddly I forgot to move all my guild money over before I copied, but I have Kara ready gear so I guess it's not that much of a loss. I still have 2 copies and was thinking about trying out holy.

Anyway, I was getting ready to go tanks some instances and was thinking of specing like this. Noting that I'm ignoring the advantage of spell dam reduction, wondering if this is a good 5 man tank spec?

Please give feedback. I'll be running for a few hrs tonight trying to get info for the FAQ.

Thanks for the input.

edit cause rum soaked head realized that I built it for lvl 80 instead of 70!!

Just one thing to bear in mind, that calculator you used is outdated. This one should be the latest:

Looks good.

Unfortunately, have to grab some talents just to get further down which sucks, but theres not much else you can do with the 70 build to get 51 talent. Although, dont think guarded by the light is necessary, might want to try out the cd on judgements in ret second tier, as its pretty damn easy, even with the replenishment now to .25% instead of .50% to get mana back. Not sure it would be needed for 6% less spell damage either in that same talents. Might be ok for builds up to 80, 70, meh to me anyway.

ALthough I am still up in the air on judgement of the just (you didnt take, and I havent either), while the mobs one tanks are a mix of melee and casters, it feels like a little bit of a thunderclap of sorts, the regular judgements are the damage part of TC and this is the slowing effect of it, but thats melee attacks, NOT movement like TC though.

Yeah... I liked the GBTL because of the mana reduction on HS. I'm about to log on and test it out (waiting for patch dl). I skipped the JOTJ because it slowed melee attacks. Old school thought I guess but as prot pallys we like to get hit more...
Eh, well here it goes (dl done!!)
