The consensus on the US forums...Follow

Oh, that? Yes, that was a huge nerf to its use. In the same way, we can look at Kalgan, and his statements that warlock pets scale "too much." Obviously, he loves his warrior. As for no other PvP healers, I disagree. Look at all the buffs Holy Paladins got (then again, Ghostcrawler is taking care of Paladins). Resto shamans don't make sense, and Discipline Priests are lacking survivability, and the Disc tree is overall just "meh."

As for rerolling, as I said on the WoW forums, I'm thinking I might just finish leveling my prot warrior. At least it will be useful.

Funny, but I just got off the beta and don't feel underpowered at all, I'm still able to take down mobs that are four levels above me, and I'm mostly in greens. I sure hope that you know that you are spreading baseless rumors made up by (of all people) the screwballs on the o-boards. I do hope this changes, or at the very least, agree that wingsofscion the Sly is a blowhard who needs to return to his first home - the o-boards.

Alright mike,
I'm not 'spreading rumours', please remove your glossy Drama Pantaloons and replace them with the firmly elasticated Common Sense Y-Fronts. Comfort and support!

If saying anything on an internet forum can be attributed as 'spreading rumours' then we should all just keep our mouths shut until someone who works for Blizzard makes an official comment, including you, but then those comments frequently contradict in the long run so we'd be in a right pickle. It's a discussion board and I'm stating my opinion, it's not like I'm creeping from nightspot to nightspot claiming the Blizzard devs regularly interfere, on moonless nights, with farm animals. I don't consider my opinion 'baseless' either unless that means I am lacking a signed "Yup, it's true, I have a ***** for my Druid, ~Koraa".

Also, your 'I dont feel underpowered' is wonderful, that makes me truly happy to hear, but you go on to quote a PvE occurence to support it. Warlocks have always been able to solo mobs higher than us, it's part of the fact of a class that can, with effort, create a nice stable cycle of mana, health and damage that never really runs out. In PvP, the focus of the discussion, the story is a tad different in PTR and not so hot on beta according to my guildies. If you'd like to tell me something useful, spend an afternoon duelling/BG and tell me how you fare against the other classes. I would be most interested to know.

Players != mobs, in short. I've heard very few complaints about PvE overall (except for the constant nerfing of Chaos Bolt and Haunt, and problems with Backdraft), but the problem with warlocks currently lies in PvP. My information comes mostly from Socio, who is very knowledgeable about several classes, and has his warlock in Beta, and has been doing arena alongside Leiah/Jayde's DK. He also has released 13-14 different videos and made several posts about how underwhelming the class is, and how obscenely squishy it is because of the way the different specs work. Currently, Demo is the best PvP spec, but even then, it doesn't provide a whole lot more than the other two specs in terms of survivability.

And as Sinstralis said, leveling as a warlock always has been ezmode, and always will be.
