TM finally got moved back to Arms, and Imp TC got moved to Prot ...

-Other notable changes ... Heroic Leap is Bye-bye ... replaced by Heroic Fury which Removes snares, etc and resets
Intercept CD ... cheers mages, it was nice being pwned by you, here taste my blades ;-)

-A slight, minute, passive TG buff in that 2hand weapon specialisation is now only 3 points, and improves damage by 6% at the max ... dunno if it was intended, but it does help TG in a small way.

-BT nerf, although I saw it coming, far too many Beta BT users were reporting that the heal effect resulted in no downtime at all.

-Armoured to the Teeth ... omg ... Tier1 talent which gives about 140 AP extra for your typical 9k armoured fury warrior (lvl70)... not to mention what it'll do for your 20k armoured prot warrior ... it IS after all Tier1. Warriors will now have to think a bit before taking the Leather over the plate now ;-)

Arms
Talents

* Trauma now affects all melee critical strike.
* Two-Handed Weapon Specialization (Tier 4) has been reduced to 3 ranks. Now increases damage done with two-handed weapons by 2/4/6%. (Previously 1/2/3/4/5%)
* Justified Killing has been removed.
* Iron Will (Tier 2) now reduces the duration of all Stun and Charm effects used against you by 7/14/20%. (Previously 10/20/30%)
* Improved Thunder Clap has been moved to Tier 1 Protection.
* Tactical Mastery has been moved to Tier 2 Arms.

* Heroic Leap has been removed.
* *New Talent* Heroic Fury (Tier 9) - Removes any Immobilization effects and refreshes the cooldown of your Intercept ability. (45 Sec Cooldown)
* Bloodthirst (Tier 7) healing reduced from 1.5% of your max health to 0.6% of your max health.
* Booming Voice (Tier 1) is now 2 ranks and increases the area of effect and duration of your Battle Shout, Demoralizing Shout and Commanding Shout by 25/50%. (Old - 10/20/30/40/50%)
* *New Talent* Armored to the Teeth (Tier 1) - Increases your Strength by 1/2/3 for every 400 armor value you have.

* Vigilance (Tier 7) has unlimited charges once again.

* Toughness (Tier 3) reduces movement impairing effect duration by 6/12/18/24/30%. (Old - 10/20/30/40/50%)

so youd think robert. theres still about a 10% disparity in terms of stat gain (after talents) between plate and leather, meaning you still gain more from a leather piece of X ilvl than you would a plate piece of the same ilvl.

enrich thyself:

10% may not seem like too much (and indeed, its less than it was) but thats essentially BoK we're talking about here.

not to say the talent is bad; its a step in the right direction. but its not a fix.

Sure, sorry ... I should have made it clearer that my comment was more tongue-in-cheek than anything else.

Yup ... the stats on leather far outweigh the armour reduction ... which is part of the reason that we as warriors are happy going for the leather ... firstly, you shouldn't be getting hit. But secondly, if you do, the mitigation gained from the plate will (99% of the time) not save you. (the 1% of the time is when you die when the boss farts from satisfaction immediately after he bashed your face ;->)

Still, as mentioned, nice to get some DPS benefit from wearing plate ;-)

Now that's what i like. Most builds use improved tc. Now its easier accessible. We have more freedom in distributing points. I can live without another DPS boosting talent, but i can't live without my favourite aoe tanking abilty. I think it's a good thing.

I find Quor quoting my posts kind of amusing. That one went right into the deep end pretty quickly, though, mostly because Serenn is an idiot.

Talents are getting better but Deep Fury is still awful, and Arms is still bipolar. Ghost said they're working on the numbers pass which I don't find at all encouraging.

Looks like pvp balancing...

::EDIT::

Ahhh man, I just realized something.

With TG, warriors are gonna fight over the same weapon drops now. Prot warriors are gonna want gear with higher strength, hopefully this doesn't mean even more in-fighting on plate drops between warriors, warriors and palli's (although I KNOW it's gonna happen).

A touch of clarity on the Titan's grip point.

I pulled the notes from MMO-C, and he's interpretted the blue post a little obscurely.

Firstly, the TG tooltip never changed, it always said that Skills that required a weapon and caused damage were the ones affected.

Then, people said - "Great, that means Bloodthirst is exempt"

Then Ghost posted that Bloodthirst was indeed affected (confusion starts - how can BT be affected if it doesn't use a weapon)

So the last blue post simply states that Bloodthirst now uses a weapon. This now clears up any confusion. Titan's grip doesn't affect non-damaging skills and skills that don't require a weapon. BT now requires a weapon ... ergo, BT is affected.

Doesn't change anything, just a wording / cosmetic update.

So now they're making you choose between unkitability and MS? That's just downright cruel =P

Looks like... Fury is the new PvP tree then? Or at least up to Heroic Fury?

stop making so much sense and ill stop quoting you!

but yeah, i followed that thread, and it was a little sad how quickly serennia dragged it into the abyss. i also find his thickheaded support for the obviously imba imp spell reflect talent to be....let's say "uncouth".

Color me clueless, but does Titan's Grip work with Two-Handed Weapons Specialization?

I'd say yes, but just checking.
