Every class in wow has their general pvp style. Mage, keep them where u want them and kill. Rogue, stun them and kill avoid being hit. Warrior, mindless rampage button smashers. Hunter, kite and kill. I was just wondering what the general theme of DK pvp is, i have seen a lot of youtube videos and idk seems like its slow and steady at the start while they build up buffs / debuffs and then after a little while of this they begin the huge damage output. Is this wrong, or is just entirely up to spec?

From a PVE perspective it depends on the crits and talents. Sometimes I get lucky and start critting for 7k+, other times it seems like I'm blowing all my runes and waiting for the CD on Death Coil just to keep doing damage.

From current experience in Wintergrasp I'm seeing DK's as a sort of mix between warriors and rogues. You take forever to bring down, yet you do massive amounts of damage, not to mention you get a very strong counter to mage's frost nove->blink.
