okay, so last time i checked.. lightwell now is useful-ish, since it breaks only when an attack deals 30% of your hp

so, in a pvp holy build, im curious...

lightwell up, lets say for 2v2 arena, priest stays right by it... blessed resilience procs (along with blessed recovery ^_^) and negates crits for 6 seconds

..lightwell renew needs a big hit to break it, so you think any class is gonna get your for 30% of your hp without critting to do it?

throw in a shield, and the fact it ticks for a beastly amount, and 10 charges

sounds like good mana-efficent self helfing in 2v2 arena and 1v1 pvp (thats whats im into for those anyways)

what are your guys take on that? ill be going pvp holy no matter what (raid-able without disc shield healing, not a fan, and its somewhat unique since disc is still more pvp then holy) but i was just thinkin about the new lightwell and all that

seems like a good concept to me, good selfing healing you can do while silenced (Bresil and Brecover both proc while silenced too) or healing to yourself so you can save clearcasting procs for your partner or just whatever use you wanna use for it

or hell, holy school gets locked out? throw a fear, lightwell, and bandaid for FREE HPZ

(still want them to make it so you cant just chain click it into extinction)

..cant believe im hyped about lightwell now -_- lol

Well, it'll be a second HoT for Priests, a very mana-efficient one. It's dispellable (a little-known-fact, since it's used so seldom in PVP) in addition to the taking-damage ending, and isn't as mobile as Renew or Druid HoTs. Getting feared away from the well could be a problem, and needing to stay near it will limit your ability to poledance. Since arenas are all about LoS, I suspect that Pain Suppression will still be more generally useful than lightwell.

o no, i agree

los will still be the big thing, but during cc cycles or in the new arenas (particularly the one with the pillars that rise up) you can turtle by one for a bit im sure

im just tryin to figure out what i can do since i want to be 17 disc (guess what talent i want lol) and the rest holy :D

wont be as good as disc im sure, but i think itll be a lil better for pve while playable at pvp

thats what im lookin forward to anyways

Last I checked the Lightwell wasn't even selectable?

The idea is funny... I think disc will continue to reign supreme in a PvP environment, but it seems holy is getting a bit more viability.

Current build (not live, obviously) you can select the lightwell to see both how many charges are left as well as attacking it if you are on the opposing side (5k healthish)

Strangely enough you can heal it also but it just shows the 'immune' message

The thing is, its 5k health and I dont think it gets any more at 80

And considering in nax gear people are putting out an easy 3-4kdps the thing wont survive more than one charge if you manage to get one at all through all the stuns

I would love to be proven wrong though and only time will tell

Then see it as at the least a 5K hp shield? 5K damage done on the lightwell means 5K damage done not on you or your partner.
