Do warrior skills such as whirlwind and sweeping strikes target Shaman totems if they are not the primary target. That is you have targeted a shaman, he drops a totem and you hit sweeping strikes, do you hit both the shaman and the totem?

No. Attacks that hit multiple targets do not hit totems. Hamstring it up while you can, it's getting changed soon so hamstring does no damage, rendering it useless for totem popping.
Hopefully the hamstring change is a fix to what they should of done to the windfury nerf so long ago. Hamstring does no dmg now but windfury can proc off any damaging attack again. So no more spamstring in arena but pve dps goes back to normal.

Windfury is a 20% haste totem now, not a proc.
Oh yha, forgot they changed windfury. Disregard my previous post.
