I am trying to make a new character at the moment he is lvl 15 so most of this is prty open and all I have so far is imp crit with melee weapons. I would be thankful for anybody to take a look at the talents I was thinking of and give me an opinion or any suggestions.

i don't dps much, so i can't comment on your improved slam build. but i bet the stickies have a build to compare with.
one thing i noticed though; orcs have a racial specialization with axes, so you would want to use axes rather than swords.

Neh the racial spec is only 5 I think and I don’t really want to use axes as they are a bit inferior according to all accounts .

In PvE and lvling axes will NOT be inferior. They would be inferior in PvP with resilinece nerfing crit. For leveling an orc warrior, go axe. Also, fury might be the best spec to lvl with due to less downtime than arms. Def spec is just slow for leveling.
well, go with whatever weapon you have access to that is better for you. If everything is equal, then grab the ax, but you certainly wouldn't want to take an ax that does 20 DPS with 3 strength and 2 stamina over a sword that does 50 DPS and 15 strength/10 stamina. That should be obvious, but its amazing how many people run around with a weapon 20 levels below them because they get a racial bonus.

one does not usually refer to 5 free expertise (not expertise rating) as "only" - the reason i pointed this out is because the OP put 5 points into sword specialization instead of ax specialization in his build. an orc would not want to do that.
for leveling 2H, go up the fury tree for improved slam and keep the slowest, hardest hitting weapon you can find. if you have a choice of two similar weapons (like the whirlwind quest), always give preference to the ax. and with improved slam, always give preference to slow weapons.
