I was just reading the requirements for the 60 mount for a paladin and is the horde quest line still easier than the alliance to get the mount? Because it says the alliance line is full of instances that no one wants to run anymore.
You can compare the requirements yourself if you want by checking WoWWiki. It is often difficult to find a group but if you ask in trade and mention you are doing the pally mount quest you may be surprised at the reaction you get. Others have posted here before on this subject, btw, and the answer is always the same - some say buy the regular mount and some say get the Pally mount
I really don't agree with tzsjynx. The lock mount is cool - it has burning feet, but that's pretty much it. The pally mount is awesome if you ask me, and I am always getting comments on it (never any negative, either). Yes, it is a bit of a pain to get, but anything worthwhile is difficult attaining. Buy the standard mount and . . . - hell, how does it go? Standard mount is standard? Get the pally class mount and stand out, also the final step is really a lot of fun and a great experience.
And you can still get the other mounts tzsjynx mentions.
What are you going to do anyway? A hundred AVs to get gear that will be outdated soon after you level in the expac? No one is going to be flying until L77, ride in style.
By the way, I didn't miss the fact that you never asked for an opinion on whether or not to get the mount. But I just disagree with tzsjynx and this is mainly directed at his post.
