I saw a video of a paladin taking on 2 elites by himself and winning. I know that there is a huge difference between armor and ability between a rogue and a paladin, but would that same situation be possible with a rogue instead of a paladin? What are some good reasons to roll a rogue? And do they really level as fast solo as many people say? And why? Thank you.

That pala was most likely prot and well geared. If you're a well geared rogue, you should it too (if combat). And yes, they do level fast CAUSE THEY HAVE UBER DPS and no mana.
Now reasons to roll a rogue...hm....that would be....so you play the game? God, why don't you ask for a reason to post here?

Adrenaline rush + evasion + blade fury + Slice and Dice + SS spam = soloed 2 elites very quickly. Can take on 3 elites easy if you Sap one first and vanish after the first 2 are dead then start a stun lock.

So rogues can solo multiple elites as combat spec once every like 5 mins or so=P maybe every 3.5 if you dont need Adrenaline rush to do so and you talent for faster evasions.

Don't forget Unfair Advantage in that buff list.
