What you learn as a priest.Follow

well. this is kinda random but i would like to talk about the things we learn playing a priest. for example i will attempt to explain the things i learned while playing every tree a priest has. and how they actually help you to play each of the other trees.

You see i leveled shadow. as such a spent a good part of my wow carrier as a shadow priest. i raided up to bt as shadow. i learned alot about how to dps as a shadow priest with pve skills.. standard rotations like vt,swp,mb,swd,mf,mf,mf anyways that was fun..

It only happend when i got burned out on raiding that i looked into pvp on my priest. strangly enough i walked into pvp as a disc/holy priest. i geared up disc holy and enjoyed it very much. it taught me just how badass your bubble is.. and never to turn your back to an enimy. it also taught me many MANY things about keybinding and modifiers and proper priest interface.
but strangly my dps background helped me make the most out of the offensive side of a disc priest... using swp and swd and mb with your shield makes for some solid damage.. all while healing yourself and others. i learned alot about versitility.

Then i went back to shadow/disc and farmed another set up pvp gear. not only did i do much better because i had idea of how great it is to have a bubble.. but also i learned that shadow shifting is not a terrible thing in the event you need a heal. i was also a much MUCH better kiter thanks to being disc holy.

then i went to a heal spec again for raiding.. and thanks to shadow i was very good at watching my aggro. very quick with the bubble thanks to both shadow and disc. and very VERY MOBILE as a holy healer.. thanks to both other specs.

i am amazed with how much these specs can teach you as a player about the spec your not even playing.. every aspect of the game can teach you somthing great about your class.

I cannot discribe how great it feels to know that after you put all those things together and after all that work.. there is a very small percentage of people out there who could beat you in a 1v1.

it feels good to learn a class in and out.

like i said this was a bit of a random post.. but i thought i would kill the time.. as my pc is currently busted.
