The First Edition Player's Handbook definitely is, and the spell name/description appears therein.
But again...the whole thing was a weak attempt at humor...not a serious concern about litigation being likely.

They also removed, either as a bug or my intent, the ability to stop the shift of the mage between his/her mirrors. Early theory crafting on EJ suggest that the impact of this spell may well be a loss in total DPS do to the continual interruptions to the mages personal casts.
