So, I visited the Oboards, and I bring more info.

Taken from the Beta forums, kudos to all the mages doing the nitty gritty work over there, I'm jealous :)

Mirror Image (80) - Creates 3 copies of the caster nearby, which cast spells and attack the mage's enemies. Lasts 30 sec. 10% of base mana, Instant cast, 3 min cooldown.

My initial impressions and concerns are:
-Spell hit: will it scale? There are clearly a few "Misses" in there, so how often can we expect our MI's to miss.
-Stationary casting: Since the tester simply stands and nukes, will our MI's remain stationary if we decide to move?
-Image swapping: Interrupts your current cast from what I see. At a timestamp of 0:26 in the video, the testing mage is swapped with an MI, and an "Interrupted" appears in his combat messages above him. This is not a desirable effect.
-FoF procs: Since MI's cast Frostbolts, will we get FoF procs?
-It appears there is roughly 3-4 secs of downtime where the MI's move around doing nothing. From the video, I saw 1 image do 9 Frostbolts and possibly 1 Fireblast before despawning (there was a flame around one of the images hands, possibly a Fireblast). Also, untalented, 3 sec Frostbolts by the looks of it.
-10% of base mana should be around a 350ish ballpark at lvl 80, pretty damn nice if it is that cheap.
All in all, from basically very little hands on with the spell, it has some promise, but needs some more testing.
Your thoughts?
Edit: Timestamp in video was wrong. Corrected.
Edit: Some more shtuff.

The images are doing roughly 700-900 dmg each per cast on avg, topping around 1.1k, though that may be his ignite ticking off. Look to his right, you can see a message saying "Pet (DMG)" and a Frostbolt icon next to it. They are doing damage, so this is a plus for PvE.
Also, there are a few Fireblasts tossed in there.
So yes, they do damage, and a fair amount of it. However, if you're a non-frost mage, this is less useful for PvP, since if you cast anything other than frostbolt or fireblast, your foe will find you. Still, popping it seems to lead to 9 attacks averaging 800 damage each per image, or 21600 damage over 30s once every 3 minutes.
Hawt.
