I haven't played WoW in about a year. I missed two seasons of Arena gear(Where I used to do fairly well). Back then, 43/7/11 would go both PVP and PVE. Now I'm told PVP and PVE have separate builds and I can only go one or the other. Here is my character: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Emerald+Dream&n=Xaeon

43/7/11 is okay for entry level raiding (Kara, Gruul's, Mag's), but if you plan to be serious about both, you really need to spec for each situation. 41/0/20 (or 43/0/18) or bust for raiding as affliction. SL/SL is the prime spec for PvP, but 43/7/11 does well in certain arena comps (UA/Spriest in 2's, Shadowplay with UA/Spriest/Healer - usually druid or shaman in 3's, or some 5's comps - I think Eurocomp employs a UA lock, but don't quote me), and does very well in bgs.

With all the new dailies on the Isle of Quel'danas, 50g is stupidly easy to come by, as well (there are about 12 dailies on the island itself, give or take, plus 4 other new ones, and an extra if you're a miner/skinner/herbalist).
