I am typically a raider and as such am like a newborn newb when it comes to the world of PvP and arena. As such I am just curious the best approach to gearing for arena through BGs as well as doing arena at same time. What are my most essential items to get first then what are ones that can be filled in as I go.
I just want to know before I spend a ton of honor on essentially something that can be replaced through arena fairly easily.

Gloves will be your first arena point upgrade, followed by pants, most likely. Other than that, almost all of your other gear will come from honor.
