New Outland Pets

There's a link to all of the new pets that so far have been tameable.
Personally, IM excited for the white moth, jade owl, and the polar bear cub.

So what do you guys/gals think?

Edit: Added core hounds, wolves, and rhino's 09/06!

can't wait to tame the devilsaur from Un'goro and then not feed him and beat him until he dies a slow painful death. Maybe I'll park him in the Barrens so he can listen to the wonderful conversations as well.....its pay back time ******!!!

As much as some of these pets are uber awesome, I couldn't part with Raico. He's my baby and my first tamed pet.
One thing is for sure, though, I hope they adjust the size of the polar bear cub so it actually looks like a cub.

Ive strictly stuck with my ravager for all raid content but I gotta admit those chimera look awesome if nothing else. I dig the new wolf skins too, hopefully theyre animated well.

Do the Devilsaurs stay Large when tamed? or do they shrink down to the size of a raptor?

The Rhinos look cool. I'd like to use one of them if they come with any neat Rhino-only abilities.

Devilsaurs do shrink a bit from their normal size but not as small as normal raptors. Most i have seen are a little bit taller then a tauren male. Rhinos do get a Family ability named "Stampede" They charge an enemy within 10ft doing i believe 54-63 damage and knocking the target back 15ft, should be a fun talent in EoTS launching people of the edge of the world Smiley: sly.

I'm a little confused about the pet named "magehunterred." It's listed as a wolf, but looks like a hyena. If it remains a wolf, it'll probably be a popular pet due to its unique (quite unique O_o) skin.

The reason that the mage hunter wolf doesn't look like a wolf is because it's body is that of a dark hound. You know, those little demon dogs you fight as a lowbie undead? I guess they decided that since they are "hounds" and the closet thing we have to a hound is a fellow canine, the wolf, that they would be wolves.

And yeah, they look bad ***.

Unless the level 80 Sting gives more than double the armor pen, Sting only gives 610.

Unless you're adding your own armor pen on top of Sting's, in which case: gimp. Smiley: tongue

Check the avatar, BTW.

Huh. That's pretty borked.

Though I guess it could be argued that it is 16 levels...

Would be interesting to see how that would do as a raid pet.

(60 nature damage every 6 secs, plus 1260 armor pen, which may or may not stack with Sunders/EA)

As a SV raid pet, of course. Everyone that's BM will be using a Devilsaur, sadly.

Could be a decent PvP pet too.
It's large enough to obstruct views, has poison, armor pen and anti stealth! :)

It's actually a pretty small pet, compared to what I've seen people using in beta.

But yeah, they're about as tall as a troll, and it's BRIGHT ORANGE, so it's pretty annoying.

And yeah, I've been using it in PvP and it's great.

I'd tame a Silithid and run around spamming Starship Troopers quotes all day long.
