Really sorry to bother you guys again (with what is probably another noob question!)
I have loaded my latest gear http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Talnivarr&n=Colandra into cheeky's spreadsheet and it is telling me I would do much better dps with a 1:1 rotation rather than a 3:2 rotation.

This would appear to go against what everyone has told me about rotations for a Beast Master,
Do the maths experts in here think this is correct or have i fooked up somewhere in cheekys?
Thanks guys

I'm no math expert nor a raider, but I thought the preferred rotation was always a 1:1 if your weapon speed was right for it. Though wait for the real guru's to answer.

I recommend Mantio's 3:2 Macro, it will fire a 3:2 until your weapon speed is fast enough for a 1:1. I've used it with my weapon speed between 1.95 and 2.00 and have always found it to give more dps then a pure 1:1. http://www.bigredkitty.net/forums/index.php?topic=1003.0 will tell you how to set up the macro.

this is the macro i've been using and its been working great for me. right now i have a too fast weapon (makes me sad) so the macro operates as a 1:1. when i can eventually upgrade to a 2.9ish speed weapon doing exactly what i'm doing now will result in a 3:2 rotation. its a very well done macro.

If you can get down to a 1:1 without clipping, it will do more pure DPS than a 3:2. On a related note, with enough haste/other effects, spamming a 3:2 macro can result in a 1:1 rotation.

To be real honest, looking at your Armory, I don't understand why Cheeky's is telling you to do a 1:1. The optimal speed for a 3:2 is as close to 2.0 as you can get, and you're sporting 1.97. Maybe try and re-input your gear, or possibly download an updated version of the spreadsheet?
