Hello all, my wife has a hunter and wants to make a macro to use. She wants a macro to send in pet, cast hunters mark, then delay a few seconds, then open up with her bow/stings. I searched around, but couldn't find a command that would delay attack. Does anyone know how to create this. All I could figure out was the standard.
/petattack
/cast hunters mark
/attack

What I can't seem to find is some way to put a delay in. She is having problems with agro as her damage is starting before her pet gets there. I was thinking maybe something with a double click. Click once and pet attacks, cast HM, then click again for attack or stings, sort of like a spell sequence macro like i use on my warlock.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You can't do that. Just do the /petattack /cast hunter's mark macro, and then switch to using a standard shot rotation macro (found in the Aethien's Sticky).

you can try it with "/in 5 !autoattack"
But I'm not sure that that will work.

The "/in 5" command still works but it can't be used for spells/abilities/items/racials/other macros.

Basically, all you can do is say things to any channel or logout.

There's a macro command that will let me say something a few seconds after I use it?

Thank you!

The /in 5 command would be useful for a spell with a set duration. Like a set stun duration, or a trap... you could have the macro cast whatever spell, then automatically warn the party/raid when its about to run out.

Correct, the /in command is nice, but only works for chat stuff.
